GTC Home Condolences Activities｜金隅环贸国际公寓敬老院重阳慰问活动
Respecting the elderly and caring for the young is a timeless traditional virtue of the Chinese nation. For GTC Home, practicing filial piety to the elderly and dedicating love to seniors in nursing homes has always been an indispensable part of corporate public welfare. As the Double Ninth Festival arrived and the weather turned cool, on the morning of October 11, 2016, a team of employee representatives from GTC Home went to Ren Ai Nursing Home in Chaoyang District to carry out a warm condolence activity for the elderly residents.
尊老爱幼是中华民族源远流长的传统美德，向敬老院老人传递温暖、奉献爱心，是金隅环贸国际公寓始终践行的社会责任。时值重阳佳节、秋意渐浓，2016年10月11日上午，金隅环贸国际公寓员工代表团队前往朝阳区仁爱敬老院，开展暖心敬老慰问活动，陪伴老人们共度温情时光。
The weather was bright and pleasant on the day of the activity. When the team arrived at the small park of the nursing home, many elderly people were enjoying the warm sunshine downstairs. We immediately stepped forward to chat with them, listen to their stories and share daily trivialities, bringing simple joy to the quiet nursing home. The elderly were all very talkative and amiable. Among them, a 93-year-old senior who uses a wheelchair still retained a vigorous and spirited demeanor. Another elderly resident, a veteran traditional Chinese medicine doctor, enthusiastically shared professional knowledge about daily health care and body maintenance with us. His words were full of love for life and positive yearning for every day, touching every member of our team deeply.
当日晴空万里、暖阳和煦，团队抵达敬老院楼下小公园时，不少老人正静坐晒秋阳、悠然休憩。我们主动上前陪伴老人唠家常、聊趣事，耐心倾听他们的过往与心声，为静谧的敬老院增添了热闹与暖意。老人们性情温和、十分健谈，其中一位93岁高龄的老人，虽常年依靠轮椅出行，但精神矍铄、神采奕奕。还有一位退休老中医老人，热情地向我们科普日常养生、身体养护的知识，言谈间尽显对生活的热爱、对生命的热忱，让在场所有人深受感染。
After the casual communication, our staff visited the elderly in their rooms with carefully prepared gifts. In addition to nutritious supplements and delicious pastries suitable for seniors, we also customized exquisite towel gift boxes printed with the Chinese character "Shou", which carries our sincere wishes for the elderly to enjoy health, peace and longevity. Faced with our sincere greetings and thoughtful gifts, the elderly were extremely warm and moved. Tears welled up in their eyes, and they kept giving us thumbs up to express their gratitude. Their simple and warm responses made every act of dedication worthwhile and left a profound impression on all our employees.
轻松的闲谈过后，我们带着精心筹备的慰问礼品，走进老人的居所探望问候。此次活动中，我们不仅为老人们准备了贴合日常需求的营养补品、可口点心，还特意定制了印有“寿”字的毛巾礼盒，寄托了祝愿各位老人福寿绵长、安康顺遂的美好期许。面对我们的暖心探访与诚挚关怀，老人们满心感动、热情回应，眼中泛起动容的泪光，频频竖起大拇指表达谢意。老人真挚的模样，深深触动了每一位工作人员的内心。
This condolence activity is far more than a simple act of kindness. While delivering warmth to the elderly, GTC Home also aims to advocate the fine tradition of respecting and caring for seniors. We hope to awaken more people’s attention and care for the elderly, especially the seniors living in nursing homes, and let the virtue of honoring the elderly take root in more people’s hearts. As the poem goes, "The sunset glow is infinitely beautiful, though it nears the dusk". We believe that the elderly in their twilight years deserve more tenderness and company. Moving forward, GTC Home will continue to take on social responsibilities, persist in carrying out public welfare activities, call on more people to care for and accompany the elderly with practical actions, and contribute modest efforts to building a warm and harmonious society.
此次敬老慰问活动，不仅是一次爱心的传递，更是一次传统美德的传承。我们在为老人送去温暖与慰藉的同时，也希望以自身行动呼吁社会各界进一步关注老年群体、弘扬敬老爱老风尚，让关爱老人成为常态。“但得夕阳无限好，何须惆怅近黄昏”，暮年时光依旧温柔珍贵，值得被用心善待与陪伴。未来，金隅环贸国际公寓将持续践行公益初心，坚守社会责任，持续开展暖心敬老活动，号召更多人主动伸出援手、传递温情，以点滴善行汇聚大爱，为构建温暖和谐的社会环境贡献企业力量。
