Our spring journey kicked off at China National Botanical Garden in the western suburbs of Beijing. A natural museum nestled in the city, it preserves the earth’s richest treasures and serves as a soothing spiritual retreat for urban dwellers.
Blossoms cluster on branches, tender sprouts break through moist soil, composing a silent ode to spring vitality. As residents wandered leisurely, they marveled at every resilient life thriving after bitter winter frosts. These flowers take root quietly, gather strength through patient waiting, and finally bloom brilliantly without restraint. It inspires us to live steadily and calmly at our own pace, gradually shaping the ideal life we long for.
雨中游园・颐和园遇静谧
午后细雨绵绵，一行人撑伞徜徉于颐和园昆明湖畔。细密雨丝飘然洒落，湖面泛起层层涟漪，远山、殿宇、亭廊笼罩在朦胧雨雾之中，更添悠远静谧之美。耳畔萦绕着导游娓娓讲述的千年历史典故，眼前佛香阁、颐和长廊静静伫立雨幕之下。

After lunch, we strolled along Kunming Lake in the Summer Palace with umbrellas amid gentle drizzle. Raindrops fell softly, rippling the lake surface, while distant hills and ancient pavilions looked exceptionally serene shrouded in mist. Our guide recounted profound historical stories, with Buddha Fragrance Pavilion and the Long Corridor standing peacefully under the rain curtain.
Free from tight schedules, we listened to the harmonious rhythm of rain and footsteps, sinking into unhurried peaceful moments. Some captured the poetic rainy scenery with cameras; others closed their eyes to feel the breeze caress their faces. Everyone communed with history, nature and their inner selves in their own way. Travelling is never merely chasing new vistas, but perceiving the familiar world again with a renewed peaceful heart.
