In the height of summer, lush greenery thrives. The air in Beijing carries a rare humid freshness unique to early summer, whispering the vitality of nature to every soul in the city. As the annual Dragon Boat Festival arrives, it invites people to slow down, embrace traditional customs, and pray for peace and well-being for themselves and their loved ones. GTC Residence Beijing gathered with all residents to celebrate the festival, weaving beautiful memories and sincere blessings into daily life amid the delicate fragrance of mugwort and bamboo leaves.
艾草为引，手作祈安 · Mugwort Garland
端午植艾，岁岁相传。自古以来，民间便有端午插艾、挂艾的习俗，青翠艾草寓意驱疫避瘟、守护安康，承载着华夏民族千年来最质朴、最真挚的平安期许，是刻在时光里的端午浪漫。
Hanging mugwort is a time-honored custom of the Dragon Boat Festival. For thousands of years, verdant bunches of mugwort have symbolized warding off plagues and misfortunes, carrying people’s most sincere wishes for health and peace.
活动现场清香萦绕、暖意融融。公寓六层的活动空间里，各位住客围坐相聚，伴着淡淡草木香气，跟随专业老师的指导，巧手缠绕、细心搭配。将鲜活艾草与雅致花材巧妙组合，一绕一缠、一折一叠间，一枚枚造型别致、意蕴悠长的艾草花环悄然成型。

The entire venue on the sixth floor was filled with the fresh scent of mugwort. Residents sat together and wove exquisite mugwort garlands with fresh flowers and mugwort under the guidance of the instructor. Touching the gifts of nature with their hands, everyone slowed down the pace of life. Tradition is never distant; it hides in every leaf and every strand, waiting for people to perceive, inherit, and embrace a peaceful heart.
粽叶飘香，共品团圆 · Rice Dumplings
端午的烟火，藏在一缕粽香里。软糯清甜的粽子，是刻在国人记忆里的端午味道，也是团圆与温情的专属象征。为让每一位住客沉浸式体验端午氛围，感受他乡暖意，北京金隅环贸国际公寓精心筹备了风味多样的粽子与精致丰盛的专属下午茶。

No Dragon Boat Festival is complete without fragrant rice dumplings. GTC Residence Beijing prepared delicious rice dumplings and exquisite afternoon tea for residents. During the gathering, residents shared warm childhood stories and festive joys. The warm dumplings in hand and the sincere friendship in heart warmed everyone. Coming from all over the country, residents with different customs and memories gathered here to celebrate the festival, turning strangers into a warm family in this bustling city.
